The Bell Media team creates and delivers the best Canadian and international content across our digital media, television, radio, and out-of-home advertising platforms. The Programmatic Operations Specialist is responsible for managing all programmatic non-guaranteed business operations. This role involves both strategic thinking as well and the ability to communicate our programmatic offering to clients and internal stakeholders. The position will manage the complete execution of all non-guaranteed transactions involving client communication, strategic recommendations and optimizations for increased revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support non-guaranteed operations and revenue including client support and PMP/PD creation
  • Ensure inventory flow and programmatic setup on multiple systems (ad server, SSPs, DSP) and support the Ad Operations team members for programmatic-related questions or issues
  • Build and maintain relationship with internal stakeholders and external partners (SSPs)
  • Provide regular reports to sales and account management teams on the performance of programmatic revenue per client
  • Work with Ad Ops, Sales and Finance teams to better merchandise and develop our Programmatic products and offerings
  • Work closely with the programmatic team on strategies to maximize yield, adjust to technical challenges, answer the buyers’ needs and make our product evolve smoothly in an ever-changing environment

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience focused on programmatic monetization/workflows
  • Understanding of programmatic platforms and transaction mechanics
  • Ad Server experience and general understanding of server behaviour including GAM/Freewheel
  • Experience working with multiple SSPs and various integration methods
  • Advanced MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint skills
  • Knowledge of English and French required: Professional relationships with English speaking customers or customers outside Quebec
  • Excellent attention to detail, possessing analytical abilities to make data-driven decisions
  • Must be curious about ad tech and keen to understand new software/vendor capabilities to drive innovation and find alternative methods to monetization
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment and be a team player
  • Strong problem solving skills
