Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Deploy ML Models: Design, build, and operationalize machine learning models that directly impact the reliability and efficiency of Bell’s network.
- Translate Data into Business Strategy: Work with stakeholders to understand their challenges and provide actionable insights that shape network strategy and investment.
- Mentor and Lead: Guide junior data scientists, establish best practices for modeling and analysis, and foster a culture of data-driven curiosity.
- Uncover Insights from Complex Datasets: Dive deep into high-dimensional network telemetry to solve ambiguous problems and discover new opportunities for optimization.
- Drive Real Impact: See your work directly improve the experience of millions of Canadians by making the country’s largest telecommunications network smarter and more reliable.
Critical Qualifications
- The Experience: A seasoned practitioner with 5+ years of dedicated Data Science experience, backed by a degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- The Cloud Capability: Extensive hands-on knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP); holding a GCP Professional Machine Learning Engineer certification is a massive bonus!
- The Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in Python , SQL, and hands-on experience with machine learning libraries.
- The Agile Mindset: Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative agile environment and values delivering high-quality business outcomes as a team.
- The Leadership Attitude: A strategic, proactive thinker who communicates complex analytical concepts clearly, experiments fearlessly, and always seeks to elevate the team.
- The Communication: Maintaining professional relationships with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada is critical to this position.
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
