The role of Senior Analyst, Content Sales and Distribution at Bell Media is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of video content distribution in Canada. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional capabilities in business planning and strategic thinking while collaborating with a wide array of stakeholders. Analytical skills, critical thinking, experience with complex modelling and presentation skills are also essential to the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create comprehensive business plans for new distribution strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver presentation materials for internal planning: subscriber revenue forecasts, strategic reviews, annual business planning cycle, etc.
  • Support commercial negotiations by developing sophisticated financial models to evaluate offers and scenarios.
  • Lead content distribution negotiations with certain partners.
  • Complete special projects, presentations and ad hoc reports to directly support senior management decision making.
  • Identify risks and opportunities for video content distribution in different segments of the Canadian market e.g. direct-to-consumer products and partnerships with new and traditional content aggregators.

Critical Qualifications

  • Superior analytical skills combined with the ability to construct/deconstruct complex financial scenarios.
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office software applications, advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve work output and efficiency.
  • People leadership skills.
  • Media and/or telecommunications industry experience in a business strategy role is an asset.
  • Post-secondary education in Business or Finance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

 

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
