On the Bell Business Markets team, you’ll be a vital part of making innovation happen for enterprise-scale customers. You’ll deliver advanced solutions in areas such as IoT, Mobility/5G, Cloud, Cyber Security, Voice, Collaboration & Contact Centre and Internet & Private Networks.

Summary

As part of this exciting journey, we're looking for a Senior Consultant to join our dynamic Pre-Sales Engineering team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of technical selling, guiding our customers through complex decisions and shaping the future of our Wholesale solutions. You'll collaborate with Account Executives, becoming the trusted technical expert for your accounts, and work alongside a diverse group of professionals across Bell's teams. You'll play a key role in Bell's transition from Telco to Techo, driving innovation and delivering cutting-edge solutions to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in pre-sales discovery sessions to analyse customer requirements and develop comprehensive network designs, technical proposals, and detailed network infrastructure planning.
- Provide expert pre-sales (and occasional post-sales) architectural and technical support to safeguard existing revenue and drive growth.
- Capture and translate customer technical requirements into actionable pre-sales assessments and firm order submissions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Network Technology, Operations, Service Delivery, Project Management, and leadership, to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve sales targets.
- Utilise Bell's Sovereign AI Tools to optimise workflows and enhance the customer experience.
Critical Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in solution architecture and/or technical sales, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong architectural understanding and hands-on technical expertise in at least one of the following areas:
- Networking (Optical transport, Ethernet, switching, Carrier Ethernet, Internet, IP routing, BGP, MPLS, SDWAN)
- Voice & Unified Communications (SIP, IP telephony, Legacy voice/TDM, PSTN engineering)
- Strong understanding of network security protocols and experience in the design, implementation, and management of secure telecommunications infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Previous telecommunications experience in a B2B or service provider environment, particularly in domains like ILEC/CLEC, ISP, mobile carriers, or managed services providers.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Ciena, Metro Ethernet Forum) are highly valued.
- Knowledge of network planning and optimisation techniques.
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
