Title: Senior Credit & Collections Administrator
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
Location: 9 Channel Nine Court, Toronto
Hours of work: 40 hours per week, overtime as required


As part of the Bell Media Credit and Collections team, the Senior Credit & Collection Administrator is responsible for credit adjudication and the collection of media accounts. In this senior role, you serve as a key point of escalation, ensuring complex issues are resolved efficiently while maintaining strong client relationships and supporting departmental objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Credit and collections – Media
• Regular follow-up on an assigned list of accounts
• Contacting customers for payment of outstanding balances
• Internal & External customer service (client, sales dept. queries)–responding to inquiries on a timely and professional basis
• Adjudication of accounts to determine credit worthiness and risk assessment
• Forecasting of monthly collections. Ensure Collection targets/DSO objectives are met 
• Ensure compliance of credit & collections regulations as well as SOx controls


Account Maintenance
• Reconciliation of accounts 
• Identification and clearing small balance adjustments
• AFDA identification


Other Duties
• Processing credit cards as required
• Preparing payment schedules
• Prepare proof of claim reports for trustees/receivers
• Various credit, collection and month end reporting

Critical Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Credit & Collection role
• Highly organized and results driven
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Post-secondary education in a related field
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to communicate in a timely and professional manner with all levels (verbally and in writing)
• Strong problem solving skills
• Ability to learn and use a variety of computer programs and software

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/French)
• Media industry and accounting experience

 

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
