Summary

The Bell Enterprise Architecture team is looking for an experienced and visionary Senior Enterprise Architect with strong analytical skills to design, develop, and implement enterprise-wide solutions that support our strategic business objectives across telecommunications and digital services.  

You'll navigate evolving business needs, design enterprise-wide solutions, and ensure architectural alignment across multiple domains. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap by collaborating with stakeholders to define and prioritize architectural initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy and technology vision. 
  • Design and implement comprehensive enterprise-wide solutions leveraging expertise across application, data, infrastructure, and security domains to create innovative and robust architectural blueprints. 
  • Conduct thorough architectural reviews and assessments of existing systems and applications, identifying potential risks, optimization opportunities, and alignment with strategic objectives. 
  • Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring solutions are designed and implemented according to established architectural principles and industry standards. 
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, continuously researching and evaluating new methodologies to ensure enterprise architecture remains competitive and forward-looking. 
  • Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation that clearly outlines enterprise architecture components, relationships, and decision rationale for stakeholder communication. 
  • Collaborate effectively with business leaders, IT professionals, and cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate architectural decisions, and ensure organizational alignment. 
  • Proactively manage architectural risks by identifying and assessing potential challenges associated with architectural decisions and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies. 
  • Champion architectural best practices and advocate for adoption of architectural principles and standards throughout the organization to drive consistency and quality. 
  • Ensure regulatory compliance by designing and implementing solutions that meet relevant telecommunications industry regulations and enterprise standards. 
  • Lead technology selection, RFI and RFP activities in collaboration with procurement, legal and business teams  

Critical Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years proven experience as an Enterprise Architect with demonstrated success designing and implementing enterprise-wide solutions across application, data, infrastructure, and security domains, including Artificial Intelligence, Agentic and Multi-Agent systems.  
  • Poweruser of Artificial Intelligence applied to creating, updating and reviewing software architecture 
  • Strong foundation in architectural principles and methodologies with hands-on experience in industry-standard frameworks. 
  • Comprehensive expertise across multiple architectural domains with demonstrated proficiency in designing solutions for applications, data architecture, infrastructure, and security frameworks. 
  • Solid experience with major cloud computing platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, with understanding of cloud-native architecture patterns. 
  • Proficiency with enterprise architecture modeling tools such as ArchiMate, Enterprise Architect, SAP Lean IX, Sparx Systems, or similar platforms for documentation and visualization. 
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities with proven capacity to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical teams and executive stakeholders. 
  • Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills with ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex architectural challenges in fast-paced environments. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders across the organization to achieve common objectives. 
  • Passion for technology innovation with continuous learning mindset, actively seeking new approaches to improve enterprise architecture and deliver measurable business value. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in telecommunications or large-scale enterprise environments preferred.  
  • Master’s degree in related field preferred. 

 

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
