Summary

We are seeking a Senior Information Security Specialist to join our DevSecOps team, focused on planning, designing, deploying and supporting the optimization of security operations functions. We are looking for a motivated technical/engineering professional, who is willing to take on new challenges, and is ready to elevate their skills to design, deploy and secure the best network in Canada. Working in a fast paced and multi-disciplinary environment, the successful candidate will use strong technical and leadership skills to collaborate across teams and within an agile zone team to ensure solutions are built according to plan, on time, and provide maximum benefit to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain centralized security solutions that reduce enterprise-wide cyber risk.
  • Develop automation to identify, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities at scale.
  • Assess emerging vulnerabilities and rapidly determine organizational exposure.
  • Develop and implement enterprise-wide mitigation strategies for critical vulnerabilities and active threats.
  • Establish standardized remediation patterns that can be adopted across multiple technology teams.
  • Partner with infrastructure and application teams to design secure-by-default platforms and services.
  • Define and implement security baselines, standards, and reference architectures.
  • Identify opportunities to replace duplicated security efforts with centralized capabilities and shared services.
  • Identify recurring security challenges and implement long-term engineering solutions.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, security tools, and automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency.

Critical Qualifications

  • 7+ years in cybersecurity, risk management, security governance, security architecture, or security program management.
  • Experience with Security Automation solutions such as Ansible Tower, AD, and leveraging EDR and MDM solutions for equivalent outcomes
  • Development experience including CI/CD Pipelines, Infrastructure as Code and Secure Architecture
  • Cross-Functional collaboration and communication: experience working effectively across multiple business verticals and technical expertise levels

Preferred Qualifications

  • Risk-based decision making to guide work effort and developed solutions
  • Experience with threat and attack surface information such as MITRE ATT&CK and CISA KEV, EPSS, etc
  • Incident response or offensive security experience, bringing operational perspective on attacker behaviour and control effectiveness

 

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
