Summary
We are seeking a Senior Manager of Artificial Intelligence for a unique and highly compelling opportunity. This role calls for an accomplished and exceptionally skilled leader who can provide technical direction, strategic oversight, and hands-on management to a team of data scientists and developers building and deploying cutting-edge AI solutions. The ideal candidate brings a proven record of leading high-performing teams, managing complex AI initiatives, and delivering impactful outcomes within the fast-evolving artificial intelligence landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and strategic guidance to a high-performing team of data scientists specializing in advanced machine learning models and generative AI solutions.
- Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle of AI solutions—from concept and design through deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and align an AI roadmap that delivers measurable business value.
- Champion best practices in data science, including machine learning, reinforcement learning, generative AI, and CI/CD, while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Monitor and evaluate AI solutions for both technical performance and business impact, making adjustments to optimize accuracy, efficiency, and outcomes.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports and presentations to senior leadership, providing clear insights into AI initiatives and their contribution to business objectives.
- Stay at the forefront of emerging AI trends by participating in industry events and conferences, incorporating cutting-edge advancements into the team’s work..
Critical Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience leading a technical team responsible for delivering AI solutions or related initiatives.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to operate effectively across both business and technical domains and build strong partner relationships.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Strong product management skills, including the ability to develop and manage multiple roadmaps while delivering on time and within budget.
- Experience with machine learning development, environments, applications, and best practices.
- Experience with LLMs, generative AI, and agentic frameworks and best practices.
- Knowledge of Field Services practices and processes is an asset.
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
