The Brand team works collaboratively with all business units to ensure brand consistency across Bell communications including digital experiences and sponsorship activations. Brand also supports our sponsorship, web presence, social media and market insights teams. 


As the Senior Manager Data Activation, you will collaborate with peers in marketing, web analytics, and BI to advance our audience targeting strategy, analytics capabilities and depth of audience insights. We are looking to turn our enviable wealth of data into insights and meaningful recommendations that drive growth and improve engagement across all lines of business. Provide thought leadership on the use of audience data and insights, working with stakeholders across the business to decide opportunities for data driven personalization strategies across prospecting, and remarketing to deliver improvements in media performance and overall experience on our owned and operated digital properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the DMP solutions architect and SME expert across the business
  • Clearly articulately data-driven strategy and planning opportunities, functions, outputs, and application to a wide range of audiences
  • Leverage 1st, 2nd and 3rd party data sources to build relevant audiences to create traits and segments, monitor segment sizes and match rates within our DMP and across our media platforms
  • Collaborate with Marketing teams to build audience centric measurement & reporting
  • Collaborate with BI & Marketing Technology team to test & implement new audience capabilities
  • Support the aggregation of first party offline and online data to create rich audience segments/insights
  • Ability to understand campaign metrics to support diagnoses of campaign performance and provide recommendations for audience optimizations
  • Analyze current processes continuously and seek opportunities to automate, where possible, to improve the efficiency or implementation
  • Develop and test hypotheses about the audiences in each campaign


Education, Knowledge/Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years experience in a digital analytics/marketing role
  • Data driven mindset. Numbers should be what drive your decision-making
  • Experience with Data Management Platforms (i.e. Adobe Audience Manager), web analytics platform (ex. Google / Adobe Analytics) and media buying platforms (ex. Google, Facebook, , etc.) to create segments, push audiences live and prepare audience analysis
  • Experience using SQL, R or equivalent data management and analysis languages to query raw data
  • Demonstrated experience managing stakeholder relationships and managing/prioritizing project pipelines
  • Good understanding on how media channels work together to create a cohesive, personalized marketing experience


Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
