On the Bell Business Markets team, you’ll be a vital part of making innovation happen for enterprise-scale customers. You’ll deliver advanced solutions in areas such as IoT, Mobility/5G, Cloud, Cyber Security, Voice, Collaboration & Contact Centre and Internet & Private Networks.

Summary
The Senior Manager reports directly to the Director of Project Delivery and has direct reports which may include Project Coordinators, Project Managers and Senior Project Managers. The Senior Manager has overall accountability for the management and the delivery from Day 1 through Closeout of projects within his/her team. The Senior Manager is responsible for his or her team’s coaching, training and development and is part of the collaborative leadership team that manages organizational issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide coaching support to staff on projects where required, including leading escalations
- Conduct Objective Performance reviews with staff
- Manage/Track/Ensure progress against Project Management team objectives
- Ensure teams are adhering to Project Management best practices
- Provide Development Plan and Career Path Support
- Facilitate monthly team meetings and project reviews with staff
- Manage relationships with other key stakeholders, i.e. CDM, Sales, Executives, etc. from a project perspective
- Responsible for the maintenance of the New Employee Introduction program
- Communicate regularly with Director on status of business and key weekly priorities
- Create and customize clear communications with teams regarding Business decisions and organizational or team changes
- Collaborate with team on District Business Plan strategies and execution
- Participate in Human Resources and team administration duties
- Key contributor on all Project Management related transformation initiatives
- Support team members through changes (Organizational, tool, processes, etc.)
- Provide leadership to large Enterprise programs and be the main interface to the client senior executives and Bell executives
- Assists Sales with pre-sales efforts including the preparation of Statements of Work, proposals, contracts, estimates, requirements analysis, technical audits and client relationship management
Critical Qualifications
- Must have significant experience in a client facing delivery role and leading complex, large scale, multi-site teams
- Experience in driving and supporting Change Management initiatives in sizeable environments.
- Experience managing financials and aggressive timelines (full P&L, budgets, timelines, project milestones)
- Proven track record of leading a large, diverse and geographically dispersed team and instilling a sense of shared purpose, delivery performance and the collective skill sets needed to deliver stretch goals.
- Must be a clear, open and effective communicator with strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills and a proven ability to lead a large group of diverse stakeholders through decision-making processes
- Self-starter with demonstrated initiative, enthusiasm & energy
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship building and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong team player with ability to work effectively in and to foster a collaborative environment
- Demonstrated Coaching/Mentoring experience and skills
- Solid management experience with track record of working effectively in direct and virtual teams
- Proven advanced Project Management experience and skills with demonstrated results
- Excellent problem solver and strategic thinker with the ability to work with ambiguity
- Excellent analytical, presentation and communication skills (clear, concise verbal and written skills)
- Flexible to work under pressure with the ability to manage in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Solid business acumen (a solid foundation/knowledge of business practices, processes, etc.)
- University Degree or equivalent business experience
- Fluency in both official languages (French and English)
- PMP and/or Agile methodologies knowledge is an asset
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
