Summary

The Bell Consumer team is seeking a Specialist, Subscriber Planning & Revenue Management to support forecasting and reporting for our Video services. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Subscriber Forecasting, this role will focus on analyzing subscriber trends, developing forecasting models, and providing key insights to drive business decisions. Additionally, this role will include revenue forecasting, incorporating Average Revenue Per Unit (ARPU) to develop a full rate and volume forecast. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical thinker with a passion for data, forecasting, and market analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of short-term and long-term subscriber and revenue forecasts for Video services.
  • Maintain and refine forecasting models to improve accuracy and reflect evolving business strategies.
  • Analyze subscriber performance trends, including activations, churn, and engagement metrics.
  • Conduct revenue analysis, focusing on ARPU trends and their impact on overall financial performance.
  • Develop and analyze rate and volume forecasts to provide insights into revenue trends.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support the preparation of forecasting reports and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in marketing, finance, and strategy to align on key business drivers.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and industry benchmarking to support business planning.
  • Utilize business intelligence tools and large datasets to generate actionable insights.

Critical Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, marketing, computer science, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, business intelligence, or market analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience handling large datasets and building forecasting models.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to transform data into meaningful insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly.
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the telecommunications or streaming media industry is an asset.
  • Some knowledge of SQL, SAS, or business intelligence tools (MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI, PowerPivot).
