Summary
We are seeking a Strategy & Analytics Specialist who will play a key role in supporting strategic planning, financial reporting, and performance tracking across Technology Services. In this role, you will help maintain centralized reporting on TS spend, monitor project budgets, and provide analysis that enables informed, data‑driven decisions.You will collaborate closely with Finance, Procurement, HR, and business leads to ensure accurate information, strong alignment, and smooth delivery of core planning activities.
This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams to deliver accurate, meaningful reporting and insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of cost models and financial structures that help align spend with strategic priorities.
- Contribute to centralized planning and reporting processes that provide visibility into financial and operational performance.
- Track project expenditures and deliverables, identify variances, and help prepare recommendations for corrective actions.
- Assist Finance with budgeting cycles, variance analysis, and forecasting updates.
- Coordinate with Procurement, HR, and business partners to support resource planning, vendor management, and workforce tracking.
- Prepare dashboards and reports that highlight spend trends and progress of key initiatives.
- Use data analytics to identify insights, risks, and opportunities for improved financial and operational efficiency.
- Support business cases, scenario modeling, and strategic planning activities with accurate data and analysis.
Critical Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis and business strategy, ideally in a technology or large corporate environment.
- Strong analytical and data visualization skills (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Ability to coordinate activities across multiple teams and manage competing priorities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Highly organized, detail oriented, and comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
