Are you ready to make your mark? Bell Media is hiring a Technical Account Manager (TAM). We're looking for a dynamic, results-oriented professional passionate about transforming innovative digital advertising concepts into reality.
In this key role within our Digital Monetization team, you will own the implementation, verification, and successful launch of critical revenue-driving initiatives. You'll be directly involved in defining the future of digital advertising and advancing our ad serving technologies across the breadth of Bell Media's digital portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead the integration and seamless deployment of advanced digital advertising solutions across key platforms, including Connected TV and gaming consoles, by expertly implementing and optimizing core ad technologies (e.g., Ad Server, DMP, SSP, Header Bidding, Viewability).
- Architect and execute technical strategies that drive maximum revenue uplift, exceed client success benchmarks, and unlock unique, high-impact opportunities tailored for each client.
- Lead and orchestrate strategic, revenue-generating initiatives, ensuring strict compliance with all platform agreements and maximizing distribution effectiveness.
- Serve as a technical authority and thought leader, providing expert guidance to rapidly diagnose and resolve complex ad-related technical challenges.
- Pioneer innovative solutions to streamline operational workflows and establish industry-leading best practices in digital advertising, with a strategic focus on advanced TV and emerging platforms.
Critical Qualifications
- 3+ years in Digital Ad Monetization; 2+ years in Project Management preferably within Digital advertising
- Educated to Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent in Technology, Business, Media, Graphic Design
- Strong working knowledge of one or more Ad Management Systems (Examples: GAM, ADX, FreeWheel, Cadent, Triton TAP, etc)
- Experience with online advertising systems and technologies (HTML5, Streaming video/audio, DAI, VAST, VPAID, VMAP, DSPs, SSPs, DMPs with focus on Header Bidding/Pre-bid technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with video players (ex JW Player, Brightcove, Adobe, etc) and CMS systems, an asset
- Knowledge of web tools: Charles Proxy, Fiddler, developer tools, etc.
- Knowledge of ad tech SDKs and DAI integration
- Knowledge of stream conditioning of transcoders and packagers, SCTE markers for cue point insertion
- Understanding of video stitching, manifest manipulator solution and architecture
- Experience with troubleshooting digital platforms and 3rd party tags, web development skills an asset (ex: HTML5, JavaScript, CSS)
- Knowledge of IAB ad formats and emerging online trends
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
