Job summary:

The technical support agent's primary responsibility is to provide customers with all the support necessary to resolve problems related to their Internet access. The agent is the customers' first line of support, where they have a unique gateway to customer service.


Job duties / accountabilities:

  • Provide technical support to users (Internet customers) by analyzing all problems raised by the customer
  • Carry out service configurations based on requests
  • Update customer files
  • Conduct customer satisfaction surveys
  • Carry out data entry
  • Close calls when the customer problem has been solved
  • Perform other related tasks, as required


Minimum requirements:

  • DCS in computer science or equivalent
  • Expertise with Windows 7, 8 and 10, Vista operating systems, Mac and Outlook
  • Knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol
  • Strong knowledge of the Internet and various software
  • Competencies/behaviours:
  • Comfortable dealing with customers
  • Ability to react quickly
  • Ability to communicate and solve problems
  • Strong team player

  • Work schedule: 24/7: Availabilities to work flexible schedules and split shifts. Premium for evening and night shifts
  • Job status: Temporary - Part Time
  • Bonus based on performance

Bilingualism is required  (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
