Position Description:

The successful candidate would create and sell strategic, integrated sales proposals with appropriate research data and marketing; be a self-motivated individual with a can-do attitude and a passion for sales who is looking for a challenging and rewarding career. This position will maintain and develop accounts and incremental business for all Astral OOH products with a deeper focus on Airports. Account manager will manage both retail and national clients.


.Job Duties/Accountabilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for Out-of-Home advertising.
  • Sell out-of-home advertisement spaces to National and Retail clients in all Astral markets with a specific focus on Airports.
  • Create and sell strategic, integrated sales proposals with appropriate research data and marketing for a large variety of accounts.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by proactively building and managing client relationships.
  • Liaise effectively with all sales support services such as research, creativity and charting etc.
  • Participate in industry and client events related to the position.
  • Support team across country


Critical Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Minimum of 5 years media selling experience.
  • Strong presentation and negotiating skills combined with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work under pressure of deadlines and last minutes revisions.
  • A highly developed client service focus and proven ability with the advertising planning community.
  • Proven successful track record
  • Must have own vehicle.


Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent from a recognized post-secondary institution.
  • Media advertising sales background
  • Current contacts and connections based in Vancouver and Western Canada media advertising agencies.




Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
