Through our 24-month rotational program, you'll work alongside industry experts to contribute to high-impact projects, build in-demand technical skills, and receive leadership development designed to accelerate your career. 

What You'll Do

As a Technology Services Emerging AI and Data Solutions Graduate, you’ll help build, deploy, and scale end-to-end data and AI solutions that enable data-driven business decisions. This program prepares you for specialized roles across three core disciplines: Data Science, Machine Learning Engineering (MLE), and Data Engineering (DE). 

  • Accelerate your growth in a 24-month rotational program, shifting from a foundational role to a second placement to broaden your technical and leadership experience.
  • Explore complex enterprise datasets, perform advanced exploratory data analysis, build predictive machine learning models and AI agents that optimize business operations
  • Build, test, and scale production-grade ML and Generative AI applications using MLOps best practices (CI/CD, monitoring, and automation).
  • Design and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data models across structured and unstructured repositories. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project delivery, technology modernization, and strategic initiatives.
  • Apply data-driven analysis and systems thinking to address complex challenges, continuously evaluating and leveraging cutting-edge AI tools, emerging deep learning frameworks, and modern cloud data platforms to drive solution quality. 

Education & Eligibility

  • Bachelor's degree, master's degree, college diploma, or CEGEP diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Less than three years of combined professional work experience, excluding internships.
  • Eligible for Bell's Graduate Program as outlined on the Students & Graduates website.
  • Located in, or willing to relocate to, the Greater Toronto Area, Montreal, Ottawa, or Quebec City. 

Core Capabilities & Technical Skills

  • Familiarity with programming, scripting, or analytical languages (e.g., Python, SQL, R) to analyze datasets and build models, alongside a basic understanding of core programming principles, object-oriented concepts, or version control (e.g., Git).
  • Foundational knowledge of databases, data modeling standards, data pipelines/ETL concepts, and cloud-native environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud/AWS).
  • Familiarity with basic object-oriented programming or scripting languages enabling you to build, automate, understand and analyze the underlying logic of complex software systems, AI models and/or datasets.
  • A proven ability to bridge the gap between business and technical by translating complex business needs into clear technical requirements, user stories, process flows, and conceptual architecture plans.
  • Foundational understanding of AI/ML lifecycle principles, Generative AI concepts, and LLMs, with exposure to modern frameworks and prompt engineering. Comfortable preparing and presenting data insights using visualization tools or libraries to communicate findings and tell a clear story. 
  • Exposure to collaborative project tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Miro) or Agile concepts. 
  • Strong aptitude for systems thinking, breaking down complex engineering challenges, and evaluating technical trade-offs while navigating ambiguity in dynamic environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership, accountability, and initiative through academic projects, student organizations, competitions, volunteer activities, or other extracurricular experiences.
