The Finance Team manages the performance and risk profile of Bell, ensuring the needs of customers, investors and employees are balanced with long-term business success. We work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute plans that help the company achieve its strategic objectives and ensure financial sustainability.  
 

Job Duties / Accountabilities:

  • Provide training and support to assigned employees
  • Provide support to internal and external clients
  • Distribute and coordinate work tasks to team
  • Extract data to create and produce standard and ad hoc analysis reports
  • Conduct detailed analysis, identify problems, make recommendations and interpret results..
  • Develop mechanized solutions and generate recommendations after analyzing requests from various sources internal and external
  • Analysis and maintenance of Access, SQL, KOFAX, OCR and KTM systems (creation and maintenance of Template, Online Training, Zone Locator, and more)
  • Troubleshoot source systems, applications and systems and correct discrepancies while providing explanations to users
  • Analyse and investigate the vendors statement account
  • Analyze and investigate and take the necessary corrective measures to ensure the integrity of the accounts payable
  • Initiate and resolve escalations with suppliers regarding billing disputes
  • Answer ad hoc requests from report users regarding data, metrics, interpreting reports, report usage, data sources
  • Maintain and update systems and process

 

Essential Qualifications / Competencies:

  • Knowledge in accounting or equivalent working experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving
  • SQL advanced level for Teradata tool
  • MS Excel intermediate level. (formulas, pivot tables, macros)
  • MS Access intermediate level. (creation and update queries, forms, macros)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Constant attention to detail and accuracy
  • Autonomy, initiative, creativity and ability to work within a specific time
  • Team spirit, positive attitude
  • Communication and building interpersonal relationships important
  • Aptitude to effectively communicate information by telephone or written
  • Bilingual (French and English)

 

Preferred Qualifications / Competencies:

  • Knowledge SAP, KOFAX, OCR, KTM, SQL, Teradata, SAS, MicroStrategy
  • DEP or AEC or DEC in accounting

Please note that candidates will have to pass a test to assess their skills in accounting
