The role:

The successful candidate will develop and sell innovative and strategic creative media campaigns that meet the clients’ objectives, the incumbent will additionally conceptualize, write, pitch and negotiate solutions for English-Canada clients and execute French-language campaigns in Quebec.



  • Develop and sell innovative and strategic creative media campaigns that meet the clients’ objectives
  • Conceptualize, write and pitch multi-platforms solutions for English-Canada clients and execute French-language campaigns in Quebec
  • Utilize the toolbox of the wide range of media and content-integration possibilities that flow from the 11 French-language specialty TV/Web brands that the company represents, including and its sub-brands, as well as their environments, mobile apps and events
  • Work closely with your internal partners in National Sales, Direct Sales, English Brand Partnerships, content TV and digital, production and research
  • Ensure follow-up over the life of projects – always prepared to roll up your sleeves as needed to ensure success and client satisfaction
  • Generate new non-traditional advertising revenue based on an action plan to grow existing client base and seek out new opportunities



  • Bilingualism in French and English is mandatory
  • 5+ years’ of progressive experience in an agency environment (media, creative or PR), at a client–marketer or for a broadcaster working on multi-platforms advertising solutions (TV, digital, radio, OOH)
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in business or communications (or equivalent)
  • Creative, self-starting, curious, innovative, dynamic, detail-oriented and a great presenter in front of small and large groups         
  • Ability to communicate and write detailed ideas and concepts
  • Good knowledge of media in Canada and of Toronto advertising agencies. A solid understanding of the Quebec market is an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite or equivalent
  • Solid knowledge of social media, pop culture and media trends
