Position Description:

Bell Media is seeking a Digital Analyst to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a high level of self-motivation and energy, an optimistic “can-do” attitude with a proven track record of displaying strong analytical thinking as well as relationship building skills. In this role, the individual will continuously review the internal metrics of our products and become a subject matter expert on industry developments and trends. You will act as a SME for all things digital analytics. The perfect candidate is a strong analyst or senior analyst who is looking to take that next step and take on responsibility for leading mid-size projects independently.


Job Duties/Accountabilities:

  • Implement analytics analysis across various digital broadcast brands and support the team on reporting and ad-hoc requests
  • Ensure the quality, accuracy and evolution of Omniture tracking (Analytics QA and debugging)
  • Identify trends and elements of differentiations versus existing content strategy and competition
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure flawless execution of product delivery with sound analytics implemented for websites, apps (iOS, Android, BB, Windows) and emerging platforms (Xbox, Smart TV etc.)
  • Support the  analysis of user behavior, operational efficiencies and revenue management
  • Provide training to extended team members to revolutionize analytics into a consulting role rather than a helpdesk


Critical Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Relevant university degree or college diploma in Business, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statics or equivalent business/technical blended experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in either agency or client side analytics/technical position with extensive experience in analytics, research and digital
  • Strong analytical background demonstrating an ability to collect data, analyze trends, draw conclusions and make actionable recommendations
  • In-depth knowledge of channel analytics tools: Adobe Analytics Cloud – Omniture (e.g. SiteCatalyst, Discover/Ad-hoc  Analysis, Tag Manager), an asset
  • Technical/QA-debugging experience with Omniture tagging, an asset
  • In-depth experience of data manipulation/visualization tools: Excel, Access, PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to translate data into context for various stakeholders
  • Bilingualism would be an asset
