Marketing Manager, Youth & Lifestyle Brands

Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Marketing Manager supports the planning and execution of the marketing & social media content strategy within Bell Media’s Youth & Lifestyle portfolio.

 

The ideal candidate lives and breathes social, understands how to strategically leverage premium content across social platforms, and has an intuitive sense of what will resonate with targeted social audiences.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees & executes marketing and social media activity for Bell Media’s Youth & Lifestyle brands, including MUCH, MTV, Gusto, E! , Bravo & SnackableTV
  • Works closely with key stakeholders to define, plan & execute strategic consumer campaigns focused on driving audiences across omni-channel platforms
  • Establish a data-driven approach to inform and build overall marketing & social strategies to increase brand awareness and drive audiences & revenue
  • Help inform the marketing content strategy with scalable targeting and audience segmentation to create maximum impact by leveraging the right content, to the right user/potential user, at the right time
  • Work closely with Brand Partnerships to recommend and advise on social media strategies that impact the brands and business
  • Works closely with programming team to define priorities & ensures core messaging is communicated to key stakeholders
  • Creates concise creative briefs & marketing plans
  • Works with larger internal Bell Media Agency team (on-air, off-air, media & production) on the execution of campaign elements. Ensuring deadlines are met within assigned budgets
  • Coordinate and develop social best practices, strategies and approach to share with the broader marketing team
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience with demonstrated success in the key responsibilities for this role
  • High social media proficiency including campaign planning  & analytics on the following platforms: Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, YouTube
  • Highly competent with quantitative data analysis and utilizing data to drive decision-making
  • Experience working for  another leading media or entertainment brand is an asset
  • University / post-secondary education with emphasis on Marketing preferred
  • A detail-oriented, well-organized mindset, with a high sense of urgency
  • Able to demonstrate exceptional project management skills under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills

 

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
